Barcelona Blockchain Week is proud to announce the first GLOBAL BLOCKCHAIN AWARDS Ceremony in order to recognize the most outstanding achievements of the industry in 2019. The qualified jury of blockchain industry professionals and influencers will choose among nominated projects and individuals and award those who contributed the most to the development and adoption of blockchain technology. The ceremony will take place in the Casa Llotja de Mar – one of the most significant and splendid monuments representing the economy and culture of the city, located in the historical centre of Barcelona.
The Award is designed in the form of world famous Catalan Castellers – Human Tower. On one hand it represents the links and connections so important in the blockchain. While on the other hand it praises cooperation, individual skills and common effort which is required from the entire community to help blockchain become a truly game changing technology
